About Frank Bailey
Frank W.P. Bailey was a life-long scouter, and
dating to before Camp Hinds was opened, he led Scouts on council camps
at Chebeague Island. Then, he told us, the council (Cumberland County)
decided that they should look for a permanant camp site. He was part
of the committee who first walked the ground at Raymond and selected the
Camp Hinds property.
